dc.description.abstract |
After many years of litigation between EDC & SBCK against Halaco where Halaco was discovered to have had violated hundreds of environmental infractions. Both have reached an agreement that requires Halaco to install measures to protect against storm water runoff, offsite leaching of pollutants, ground-water contamination, toxic air emissions, and odors from the site. Halaco also agreed to remove a heap of toxic waste material located next to Ormond Beach or pay significant penalties to environmental programs. |
