Dr. Hartmut (Hart) S. Walter is currently a Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, Department of Geography. His research and courses focus on island biogeography, landscape ecology, phylogeography, ecosystem management, and conservation biology. His collection consists of over 650 environmental science books and over 1000 environmental images. This digital collection contains images of geographical features, wildlife, vegetation, and human interaction with the environment in California, the Channel Islands, and Mexico.
